I love to prepare meals for children and their families. Over the years I have developed recipes and strategies for helping children eat a healthier, less processed and more varied diet.

I have a degree in community health, am a certified plant-based chef and a trained macrobiotic chef. I assist and teach a variety of cooking classes each year, and work with families one on one introducing first foods and helping increase whole grain and vegetable consumption in the home. Personally, I continue to study macrobiotic philosophy, traditional Chinese medicine and plant-based nutrition. I live in Bellingham, WA.

My experience working with families extends beyond the kitchen. I have worked with families as a birth and postpartum doula, parent educator, tutor, coach, and nanny. I have a lot of practical knowledge about what helps children and parents grow into loving and connected families. I hope some of my strategies help your family as well.
